เมื่อวันที่ ๔ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๗ นางสาวเสาวลักษณ์ ชัยชูสอน อัครราชทูตและอุปทูตรักษาราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เป็นประธานฝ่ายฆราวาสในพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์และถวายเลี้ยงภัตตาหารเพลเพื่อถวายพระพรชัยมงคลและเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวเนื่องในโอกาสเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา ครบ ๘๗ พรรษา ที่วัดพุทธไทยเชตวัน เมืองเปอตาลิงจายา รัฐสลังงอร์ โดยมีข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตและทีมประเทศไทยพร้อมครอบครัว และผู้แทนชุมชนไทยในมาเลเซียเข้าร่วมงานประมาณ ๗๐ คน โดยก่อนเริ่มพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ อุปทูตฯ ได้นำคณะผู้เข้าร่วมงานถวายราชสดุดีและร้องเพลงสดุดีมหาราชาร่วมกัน และสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้เปิดโอกาสให้ชาวไทยในมาเลเซียที่มาร่วมพิธีได้ร่วมลงนามถวายพระพรแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวด้วย

 

On 4 December 2014, Miss Saowalak Chaichuson, Minister and Charge d'affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, presided over the Bhuddist Chanting Ceremony on the occasion of the 87th Birthday of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand. The event was attended by some 70 people comprising Embassy staff members and their families as well as representatives of the Thai Community in Malaysia. On this occasion, the Charge d'affaires a.i. led the singing of "Sadudi Maharaja" and the Embassy also provided the people who attended the ceremony with an opportunity to sign in a book to express their respect to H.M. the King as well as to wish His Majesty all the best on the occasion of the 87th Birthday.
